Is your Noise watch battery normal?
Noise publishes four specific causes of fast drain and four fixes for them, which is more concrete than most brands manage — but no capacity figure, no cycle count and no threshold. Its warranty is one year and covers defects only, so what you can demonstrate matters more here than on most brands.
What Noise will actually tell you
On ageing: Noise publishes no capacity-retention figure, cycle count or threshold at which a battery counts as faulty. Its warranty runs one year from the invoice date and covers manufacturing defects only.
Reading battery health yourself: Noise exposes no capacity figure on the watch, so the 24-hour idle test is the closest thing to a measurement an owner can take.
Noise's own battery guidanceWhat to change on a Noise, biggest saving first
Ordered by what it actually saves. Brand guidance usually is not — which is how “turn off music” ends up above “disable always-on” in a manual.
- Turn off raise-to-wakeNoise names it first among its own causes: in some situations the wrist gesture wakes the screen far more often than the owner notices, and the screen is the expensive part.
- Turn off continuous heart-rate monitoring in the NoiseFit appNoise's own first fix. Continuous sampling runs all day whether or not anybody reads the trend.
- Bring brightness down from 100%Noise lists brightness at full as one of its four named causes of fast drain.
- Turn off automatic stress monitoringAnother of Noise's own four, switched in the NoiseFit Assist app rather than on the watch.
- Cut the notifications you do not needEach one wakes the display, which compounds with raise-to-wake rather than replacing it.
Storing, charging and replacing
Storing itnot published by the brand
Noise publishes no storage charge range. General lithium-ion practice applies: part-charged, cool, and not left flat for months.
Charging it
Noise watches charge on a magnetic contact pad. Because the warranty excludes liquid and physical damage, charging a watch that is still damp from a workout is worth avoiding for reasons beyond the battery.
Replacing the battery
Not user-replaceable through Noise. Service runs through Noise support — register the order and serial number, raise a ticket describing the fault, and expect roughly 12 to 15 days for a repair or replacement. Third-party repair shops in India will swap a battery same-day, but doing so voids what is left of the warranty.
What the warranty covers
One year from the invoice date, covering manufacturing defects and technical faults only. Liquid damage, physical or accidental damage and unauthorised repair all void it. Since Noise publishes no capacity threshold, a sudden change you can date — rather than a gradual decline — is the thing a claim can rest on.
Noise battery questions
- Why is my NoiseFit watch draining so fast?
- Noise names four causes itself: raise-to-wake firing more often than you notice, automatic heart-rate monitoring, brightness at 100%, and automatic stress monitoring. Three of the four are switched in the NoiseFit app rather than on the watch, which is why most owners never find them.
- Does Noise cover a bad battery under warranty?
- The warranty runs one year from the invoice date and covers manufacturing defects and technical faults. It does not cover liquid damage, physical damage or a watch that has been opened by an unauthorised repairer — and because Noise publishes no capacity threshold, gradual decline is harder to argue than a sudden fault.
- How long does a Noise repair take?
- Register the order and serial number, then raise a ticket on Noise Support describing the fault. Repairs and replacements typically run 12 to 15 days.
This is general information, not a diagnosis: it compares one figure you have given us against the runtime the manufacturer publishes, and we cannot measure your battery. Your manufacturer or an authorised service centre is the only place that can test it. Service pricing and warranty terms vary by country and change over time — treat the figures here as a starting point and confirm them with Noise for your own model.
