Watches that fit a 14.5cm wrist

Computed for a wrist measuring 145mm (14.5cm) around, and used for anything up to 15.9cm. That works out to about 54mm across the top of the wrist, which is the measurement that decides whether a case overhangs.

583 of the watches we hold dimensions for sit in the good-fit band for it — between 70% and 95% of that width. They are ranked by how close they land to the middle of that band, not by price, popularity or anything we were paid for.

How this list is worked out

Overhang is decided by the case footprint — the tip-to-tip span — against the flat width of your wrist, not by case diameter on its own. We take the footprint from each watch's published dimensions and compare it with the 54mm a 14.5cm wrist works out to.

Where a watch publishes no separate lug-to-lug figure we use its case width in place of one, which is the case for 369 of the 583 watches here. On a round smartwatch with flush lugs the two are close; on a watch with long lugs they are not, and that is a limitation of the published data rather than a measurement we made. Our methodology sets out what we hold and what we do not.
